Materials Needed:

  • Colored paper (various colors)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Popsicle stick or paper straw (for the umbrella handle)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Cut Out the Circles

  1. Take a sheet of colored paper and use a cup or a circular object to trace 4–6 circles of the same size.
  2. Cut out the circles neatly with scissors.

Step 2: Fold the Circles

  1. Fold each circle in four folds.
  2. If using 6 circles, fold all in the same way. The more circles you use, the fluffier the umbrella will look.

Step 3: Assemble the Umbrella

  1. Take one folded circle and apply glue on the diagonal of inner fold and repeat it for all circles.
  2. Stick outer side folded circles to each other.
  3. Repeat this process until all folded circles are attached, forming a semi-circle when opened.
