How to Use Free Fall Porch Signs SVG
First, you’ll need to gather your supplies. For this project, you’ll need a piece of wood (we used a 1×8), a saw (we used a miter saw), paint, paintbrush, vinyl letters, and Mod Podge. You can find all of these supplies at your local hardware store. Once you have all of your supplies, it’s time to get started! Begin by sawing your piece of wood into the desired shape and size. I recommend making signs 24” wide and 6” tall, but you can make yours whatever size you’d like. Next, paint your wood. We chose white paint for our sign, but you can use any color you’d like. Once the paint is dry, it’s time to add the vinyl letters.
There are two ways to do this. You can either use transfer paper to apply the vinyl letters, or you can use Mod Podge. If you’re using transfer paper, simply place the transfer paper on top of the vinyl letters and then place it on the sign. Use a credit card or a scraper to smooth out any bubbles. If you’re using Mod Podge, simply brush a layer of Mod Podge on the back of the vinyl letters and place them on the sign. Once the letters are in place, brush a layer of Mod Podge over the top of the vinyl letters. This will help to seal them and protect them from the elements. And that’s it!
Your sign is now complete. Hang it on your porch and enjoy your handiwork!
